About the event

This case consultation group is for licensed clinicians who work with Autistic children, teens, or adults. My co-leader will be Sondra Wolff, LCSW-C, a brilliant therapist who specializes in working with Autistic individuals. Each of the six sessions will include a didactic component and case discussion, and each participant will have the opportunity to present one case. This group will run on Fridays, Noon to 1:30 ET, from October 18 through November 22. Total cost $475.

CEs:  Psychologists and social workers can earn 9 CEs for full participation. This group is approved for CEs by The Stixrud Group (TSG). TSG is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Stixrud Group maintains responsibility for this program and its content. Social work CEs are pending.

Target audience: All levels of clinicians, from beginner through advanced.

Learning objectives: Participants will be able to:

1.  Describe the ways in which Autism can be a defining and informative lens.

2.  Describe core characteristics of individuals with a less obvious presentation of Autism.

3.  Identify neuro-affirmative psychological frameworks and approaches to support their clients in therapy.

4.  Develop professional relationships and a network of clinical support in a confidential and supportive setting.
